Our summer looks promising: The Tour passes by twice (!), we host the nicest cycling clubs and special sports events take place in our village.

At the start of our season, we host fun cycling clubs, including Size, WV Noord-Veluwe, Kaptein and the Windjammers, for a programme full of cycling fun.

Also, the Tour de France passes through our area. Not once, but twice! On 2 July, stage 4 takes the peloton past 'our' Briançon for the ascent of the Lautaret and the Galibier.

The second passage will take place on 18 and 19 July along the blue Lac de Serre Ponçon and Embrun. For the biggest cycling fans, we will organise a special Tour de France week, in which you will be looked after like a pro in our hotel, cycle the Tour routes and enjoy a unique lunch with a view of the Tour!

Of course, our region offers many opportunities for road, mountain and gravel biking at other times too. New is our short bike stay, ideal for short stays. Combine your trip with a stopover in Bourg and climb the Alpe d'Huez. That way you can tick off the Galibier, Izoard, Agnel, Granon AND the Alpe d'Huez in one visit.
